Online space for state directors of adult education to discuss implementation of the 2012 NRS Guidelines.
The Evaluation Learning Community (ELC) will bring together states interested in using NRS and other data to conduct research on issues related to adult education and literacy. Participating states will develop a data analysis plan based on the latest research, work with other states with common interests to develop joint or complementary work, conduct analyses and prepare reports.
This online course is a follow-up to the first face to face Adult Leadership Training in December 2009. In this course participants will be asked to report to the group as they work on forming a vision statement for adult education in their state. Resources from both face to face trainings are also available within the course.
NRS Regional Training for 2009 - This platform offers links to various web-based tools and communication tools for 2009 adult eduaction training participants.
The Institute will cover topics and skills that adult education state directors and their staff members need to perform their jobs effectively. This Institute will help participants to develop skills in two primary dimensions: Effective Management and Quality Leadership.
This facilitated online course is offered by the National Reporting System for Adult Education for state staff new to the NRS. The course is currently not available for enrollment, but it is open to guests for a preview of the course.
